The freshmen welcome party

Hankuk Academy of Foreign Studies has welcomed their 15th freshmen of 2019. The Freshmen welcome party was a major event held by the 14th student council and the other seniors in order to congratulate the freshman for being accepted in HAFS. The freshmen welcome party took place in February 28th in the gymnasium. Every performance related club was assigned for the concert and the seniors showed great effort in practicing since it was their first impression for the freshmen. Hayul, Mavis, HAFS Cheers, C Major, The C.I.T.Y, Motiv, Gesture, Dalyeoul, Noise, and Interlude participated in this party. These clubs showed some great performances to the delight of many. In the middle of the party, there were several events that the 14th student council had prepared. I expect that next year’s freshmen welcome party will be more capable for active participation of the freshmen since there has been some changes in the past few years, and for this year’s party. Thanks to this meaningful time, the freshmen could relieve their stress from the club interviews and from adjusting to a new environment, new friends, and a new lifestyle.Hanna Chung ’21
